Digital Humanism Workshop

Strategies for a Humanistic Digital Future

Third Workshop on Digital Humanism

19-20 November 2020 at 4:00 p.m. CET.

(online only)

The Digital Humanism initiative was launched during a workshop on Digital Humanism in Vienna in April 2019. The first workshop brought together academics from different disciplines, such as political science, law, sociology, history, anthropology, philosophy, economics, and informatics. It has developed into an established international community spanning academia, civil society, public organizations and industry. Milestones in the process were the publication of the Vienna Manifesto on Digital Humanism, an online workshop in light of the COVID crisis, and an ongoing lecture series with renowned international speakers.

During the November workshop, there will be four sessions focusing on education, sustainability, AI in Europe, and international developments with similar aims, including the Dutch Digital Society Programme. I will be moderating the session on resilience and sustainability on Friday 20 November.

Details of the programme and the online link can be found here.
